The Build

OK lets stop jabbering and get down to the nitty gritty of building our model.

•  Stick your plan onto the art board and cut around it with a very sharp knife, or if you're really confident just draw the plan straight on using the dimensions outlined above.

Cutting Finished and ready for the murder hole to be cut.

•  Now trace your murder hole onto the panel you want to make the front,, then carefully cut it out with your very sharp knife.

•  Get some unused artboard from your stash and lay the cut out piece onto it, then carefully trace around your original piece and enlarge the pencil line by approximately 1cm, then cut this out also, you should have two bits as below, the original smaller piece and your enlarged larger bit, 1cm larger in all dimensions.

•  First cut out a large hole on the larger of the two pieces from above, then cut a smaller hole in the smaller one as in the picture below.
